Children’s Week celebrates the talents, skills and achievements of children, and their right to connect with others and respectfully share their views.
This year’s theme is ‘Children have the right to a clean and safe environment’.
To celebrate Children’s Week, we will be hosting free events for children and their families that will engage the senses, capture the imagination, and encourage creative expression.
This Children’s Week activity is presented by Merri-Bek Toy Library Incorporated in partnership with the Victorian Government and Sussex Neighbourhood House.

What’s Happening:
Outdoor play area with bikes, cosy coupes, and a party pack.
Dress-up Parade - Kids can wear costumes or borrow from us for a fun parade.
Toy Donate Table – swap out or donate your near new toys you no longer need. No plush toys please!
Play kitchen, baby play mat, and construction area – promoting fun & learning through play!
Face Painting & Social Media Corner with a fun photo frame for family pics.
This event is not catered, but water will be available. To help make it waste-free, please bring your child's cup or water bottle. If you bring snacks, kindly avoid foods with common allergens like nuts. Thank you for your understanding!
